How the RISA Fund grant will be used
The GrowthAfrica’s project aims to provide insights on how commercial ventures in East Africa scale and will focus on Kenya, Ethiopia and Rwanda. Data will be collected and used to support East African venture growth while concurrently improving research infrastructure. By leveraging the strengths of both the public and commercial sectors, the project aims to unlock the untapped value in data sharing and promote a collective benefit for the ecosystem through a collaborative data observatory.
This is a unique project that aims to build a data observatory to provide evidence on what factors influence firm growth.
The project is being implemented in collaboration with Systemic Innovation, policy makers and other stakeholders in the private sector.
